This Ballo has to be done by 3 men, and 3 ladies: and standing
the men to one head of the hall, and the ladies to the other by line,
they will do together the Riverenza, with 2 Continenze; then walking
together, they will do 2 Seguiti, and in meeting them at the end of the
second Seguito, they will bend the knees a little, to manner of meza
Riverenza, and will do another 2 Scorsi, turning to the left hand, and
changing place.
They will return to do the same walk another turn, and in the doing
said meza Riverenza, when they will be met, the right hand will be
touched, and in the second walk the left: then finding them all to
their places where they started, they will do 2 Continenze, and the
Riverenza facing.
The men alone will do then 2 Sottopiede to the left flank, and 2
Riverenze preste with the left, and 1 Trabuchetto to the said flank,
another Sottopiede to the right flank, and 2 Riverenze preste with the
right foot, 1 Trabuchetto with the right foot to the said flank; then
they will be turned to do another Sottopiede to the left flank, doing
suddenly 2 Fioretti forward, and 2 other flanked back, 1 Salto, or 1
Trabuchetto with the left to the left flank, diminishing the right foot
on earth, and jumping with both the feet to the right flank on point of
feet nimbly.
The ladies will do 2 Seguiti spezzati flanked forward, and 3
Trabuchetti; and they will do the same back.
They will do after that the braiding, as yet is said in the Balletto
called the Furioso:
but always with the Seguiti ordinarii, giving first the right hand, and
then the left: as yet is in head of the hall, has to give the said
right hand, which has let go, and is followed in succession until which
each person will be arrived to their place. After the men will do
the Riverenza to the ladies, and they will do the same to the
men. Finally they will do 2 Seguiti turned to the left, and the
Riverenza facing, finding each one again to their place, as they were
found in the start.
The same sonata of the Passo
e mezo would be done.
