In Praise of the Illustrious Lady
The Lady Virginia Crivella Ruissa,

This dance would be started standing the people a little facing,
and holding taken the ordinary hand, where together they will do the
Riverenza minima, and 2 Continenze, similarly minime; then letting go
they will do 3 Seguiti ordinarii, starting each thing with the left
foot, that is 2 turned to the left, and 1 facing, with 3 Trabuchetti
facing, starting it with the right, and the final will be to feet even,
after that they will do 2 Puntate, taking of new the ordinary hand, and
doing together the Riverenza, as of above.
In the second time, walking, they will do 1 Passo grave with the left
foot, with 2 Seguiti ordinarii, and 3 Trabuchetti gravi, and the final
of these to feet even, starting with the right foot, then they will do
3 other Seguiti, starting it with the left, and the Trabuchetti as of
above, with 2 Puntate, 1 forward with the left foot, and the other back
with the right, and the Riverenza said of above.
In the third time, letting go, they will do 3 Seguiti ordinarii, 2
turned to the left, the man going to one head of the hall, and the lady
to the other, and the final Seguito they will do facing, starting with
the left foot, and 3 Trabuchetti, 2 facing, and the final to feet even,
turning the right flank inward, then taking the right hand, they will
do 1 Seguito ordinario with the left, and taking the right hand, thence
they will do another with the right: letting it go then, they will
thence do another turned to the left, with 3 Trabuchetti, the first
with the right foot, and with the right flank outward, the other with
the left foot, and with the left flank inward, and the final to feet
even, with the right flank inward, then they will do 2 Continenze, and
taking both the hands, they will do the Riverenza.

Taking the right hand, and they will do 2 Seguiti spezzati with 2
Trabuchetti, and 1 Seguito spezzato, starting with the left: taking
then the left hand, they will do the same by opposite, then letting it
go they will do 2 Seguiti spezzati flanked back, and 3 Riprese with the
left flank inward, starting with the left foot: they will do the same
by opposite.
To the sound of the Canario.
Both together will do 4 Seguiti spezzati turned to the left, and taking
to the field enough, one of them will go to one head of the hall, and
the other to the other: whence then they will do 2 Passi presti
forward, and the Cadenza, with this change; 2 Seguiti battuti always
with the left foot, and 3 Battute preste, starting it with the right
foot, and at the end of these another Seguito battuto with the left
foot; and this change would be done 4 turns: after the which they will
do 3 Riprese back, and 1 Trabuchetto with the left flank outward; they
will do the same with the right, and if there will be space enough
where they will dance, they will do said Riprese 4 turns; then they
will follow with 4 Seguiti spezzati, 2 turned to the left, and 2
forward; finally thence they will do 4 other scorsi, turning it to the
left; then the man taking the ordinary hand of the lady, they will end
the Ballo with doing together the Riverenza.
