To The Very Magnificent
Madonna Margherita Della Torre Da Saravezza

Tell me lovely Nymphs,
Oreiads, and Flower-nymphs,
Naiads, and Wood-nymphs, which in the Tosco
Happy, high earth make you dwelling;
If you see at any time ever with you
Nor the mountains, nor the forests, trees, or springs,
Or between heavenly Gods,
Such rare beauty,
As now is in Saravezza?
So would say Damon under a fair Ash,
When Phoebus joins unto it; Songs Shepherds,
Not it to say others; of her I took the splendor.
