Agatha Transformed (Agatha Transformed)
The following were notes while the character was evolving. They do not necessarily represent the way it came out.
Maria from the short story [Fan Fiction]. Her real name is Mary, last name unknown; the long Maria name is her alter ego in the story, and the pseudonym she adopts when she runs away with the Circus. Agatha's biggest fan. The castle is just outside her village, so she has attached herself as a native guide. Might be a very low-grade spark herself (possibly the fabric spark?), and wants to hook up with the circus. She's borderline too young, but they are thinking about it. Note Lars' description of people who run away to join the Circus (v4, p75) -- that's Maria.
Maria is actually Agatha, transformed by the Mirror of Amagog, which essentially tweaked reality to write her into it. Only Dingbot Prime knows about this, but there should be ample hints in this direction. For instance, Othar should perceive her as a replacement Plucky Sidekick.
Question: if Maria is from the nearby town, why haven't her parents come after her? Answer: she did a pretty good job of avoiding it being a hassle for a couple of weeks, and her Mom wants her to have a brief chance to live her dreams. They're paying attention, and if it sounds like the Circus is about to leave they will come for her, but they're giving her a week or two to do something stupidly educational.
Amount of Character Potential: Fair (Probably in, but the same player as Agatha, assuming that we go with the Agatha Transformed plot, so she doesn't count as a player.)
