Now that we've moved house, we have a
lot of leftover stuff to be given away. We'd really prefer that it go to friends. This is just a sampling of some of the larger items and categories -- there's quite a bit more.
We're strongly encouraging folks to take Stuff from our Memorial Day party. If you can't make it there, but are interested in particular items, write to us. It's first-come, first-serve, where "first-come" is defined as "hauls it away". Anything left over when we get tired of it (pretty soon, in all likelihood) will be thrown out or given to charity.
- Full-sized Sofa: a bit cat-clawed, but still pretty squishy and comfortable.
- Rocker/recliner: rose-colored, mildly worn but still in very good condition. Identical to the one I use every day; we just don't have room for two of them any more.
- Sewing table: nice solid formica-top table, whose top flips up and a sewing machine comes out. Hasn't been used in many years, so the sewing machine probably at least needs tuning.
- 2 LP Turntables: both slightly broken but probably repairable. (One has a persistent hum, which probably means the grounding wire is broken. The other is a fancy linear-tracking table, which is somehow blocked: it will only play about 3/4 of the way through a record, and can't go any further.)
