Polling Order Members Reference Page

Polling Orders

There are nine East Kingdom orders whose members are polled by the Crown with regard to potential new members.  These orders are the Chivalry, Laurel, Pelican, Rose, Silver Crescent, Maunche, Tygers Combattant, Sagittarius, and Golden Rapier.

I have taken out the link that used to live here, to the polling status table, because it was too old to be useful (the table having been created in 1999).  If you have questions about your status, need to be added to or deleted from the polling lists, or change your email address,  please contact Mistress Caitlin Davies

How to change your email address:

Write to me from either the old or new address, or telephone (see Pikestaff for number).  Please only change the address for yourself or your spouse/spouse-equivalent.  While I'm glad to hear about changes of address especially "moved away" notifications from others, only the order member him/herself can ask to be on the polls.  (Awww, come on, if you want to get the polls, one little email isn't much to ask.)

How to get a copy of polls for your orders

Pollings may be received by email, by collecting them in person from the Crown at certain Royal Progress events, or by sending a SASE to the Crown.  Polls will not be sent out in hardcopy at the Crown's expense.  (Per Kingdom Law VIII.B.4.)

Current polls:
Second poll by Their Majesties Darius and Roxane
Polls were distributed in October and due November 9th.

First poll by Their Highnesses Brion and Anna
Will be issued approximately the middle of January 2006

Discussion Lists

Separate from the polling process, there are email based discussion lists for each of the orders.  Much of the conversation centers around the polls when there are new ones out, but they also provide a forum for other order business.  For more information, including instructions on how to join the lists for the order(s) to which you belong, please see this page.
