Il Ballarino Reconstructions
The Carolingian Accademia della Danza has been working for some time on
reconstructing some of the dances from Il Ballarino. As we work
out more reconstructions, they will be added to this page.
All of these dances were reconstructed using the step
reconstructions that we have developed from Caroso's original step
descriptions.
The music for many of these dances can be found at Gregory Blount's
Il Ballarino web page, though we hope to make our reconstructions
of the music available as soon as possible.
These reconstructions are, of course, works in progress. If you
