{{Description=A member of the Circus, Pix appears (v4, p14) to be one of the more clear-headed members of the group, with a clear understanding of the chain of authority within it. She tries to keep people from doing dumb things, like (v4, p20) promising Agatha that she can travel with them. But she is also (v4, p22) intensely passionate, and doesn't bottle her feelings up -- she'll do the right thing, but rage about the need to do so. From the Cast List: <blockquote> Pix was instrumental in convincing the Wulfenbach search party that Agatha was dead. Due to that adventure, Pix has recently become romantically involved with Abner, the Circus Masters' second-in-command. Pix usually ends up playing Lucrezia Mongfish in the Heterodyne shows, which annoys her. She has always wanted to play "The High Priestess." Now she gets to, as she's fobbed the Lucrezia role off on Agatha. </blockquote> She is genuinely scared of Klaus and the rest of the Madboys, it appears (v4, p22). Pix' relationship with Abner is (v4, p14-15) rather complicated. As we see on the second panel of (v4, p50), she's rather in love with him. But as we see on the next panel, she's quite capable of yelling at him the next second after kissing him. They often shy around each other, despite the deep feelings, and can be really cute when they get going (v4, p74 and p94-95). She's going to be tricky to write well, but she's such a good character to *play*, with so much fire, that we really should make an effort to get her into the game: she's one of the best pure-angst parts. (Probably the part I'd want to give to Becky, if she was playing.) According to Zeetha (v4, p15), Pix is a "great actress". Note that, on (v4, p46), she is the one they use to feed Gil the story about Agatha's death. This scene is complicated: she's *claiming* to be an actress pretending to try to grift Gil. But as we see on (v4, v54), that is itself an act -- Agatha describes her as playing "a perfect xenophobic peasant" (v4, p55) -- and despite the fact that Gil was holding a gun to her head on (v4, p48), she's still annoyed that Abner cut off her scene before she had played it through. This seems to indicate that she's a serious risk-taker, and *loves* high-stakes acting. By implication on (v4, p45), she and Agatha are the same shoe size. She is perceptive: for instance, she twigged quite clearly that Gil was in love with Agatha (v4, p73). It isn't anything like certain, but note that Vrin was Lucrezia's High Priestess according to (v5, p94), and Pix' outfit on (v5, p59) could plausibly be an interpretation of Lucrezia's outfit on (v5, p80). So my *suspicion* is that "the High Priestess" is actually Vrin.}}
