Bluesheet: The Castle - Silas
You didn't get nearly as long in Amagog's Castle as you'd have liked - really, studying everything would take years... or decades, or perhaps even a lifetime. However, while you were there, you did learn some things about the interior:
- The internal layout of the Castle...changes. You don't think it's anything so mundane as physically shifting corridors (though there are probably a few of those); it's probably accomplished through some much more fundamental manipulation - direct spatial distortion, or perhaps even reality distortion. The changes are gradual in some sense; they occur over minutes and days, not seconds. You never observed one in progress, nor did you observe any noticable changes to individual chambers (just the paths between them) - but then again, you only there for what, nine days?
- You've probably only seen a portion of the interior - partly due to limited exploration time, but also probably due to the changing layout. When you fled from the Perfect Construct, you know you fled through rooms you'd never seen before, and you + Hugo found several rooms that he'd never seen before you arrived.
- The Castle has various deathtraps - from your studies of Amagog, you're pretty sure he put them in more because it was expected than because he actually felt like killing people. Hugo had disabled several of them before you arrived, and still others were triggered by explorers. Still, there are probably some left - as if the Perfect Construct weren't enough to deal with.
- You're familiar with some of the rooms in the castle. (See enclosed list.)
