The following were notes while the character was evolving. They do not necessarily represent the way it came out.
One of the mechanics in the Circus. She is (v4, p20) a "leg man", which I believe means that she specializes in walking vehicles, not wheeled ones. Very, very butch, but female according to the Cast List:
Small and strong and keeps everything running. Rivet is a slightly sparky toolmaker and a fantastic mechanic. She loves her tools and machines and is impatient with silly people, so she has trouble communicating. Onstage she's completely the opposite, always an audience favorite.
Rivet has a spectacular tool collection, one of the best in the world (v4, p71). If we decided to make her a character, she should probably provide an extra "boost" as a lab assistant. Even if she isn't a PC, her toolchest should probably be available to the Sparks in game. (Indeed, the barrel of construction toys might well be "Rivet's Toolchest".)
