Darker: Clanks contribute nicely to the atmosphere of Girl Genius, and having one or two in-game could be nice. Most Clanks seem to be pretty simple - not close enough to sentient to be terribly interesting to play - but there are exceptions; I was thinking of one whose programming is complex enough that it approximates some form of free will, but is...somewhat erratic in the bargain. Alternately, one could have something approaching construct intelligence but with the body of a simple clank.
(I'd dearly love to see a Wulfenbach Security Clank as a PC, but the nature of the clank's sentience would probably have to be less 'erratic' and more 'useful'.)
Justin: Definitely has potential -- it's the kind of character I tend to like. But it needs a lot more beefing up before it becomes a real character, and it's a tricky one, since relatively few other ideas are compatible with Clanks.
