Bite { Special Ability }

Special Ability: Bite

You are a cat. As such, you have a very practiced skill at biting things, and sneaking up on them. You may jump into any combat, unannounced, at any time, by biting a single combatant on the arm or leg. This distracts them from whatever else they were going: they must focus on you for this round of combat. If they were in the middle of combat with someone else, and would have won the round, they do no damage; if they would have lost the round, their opponent's effective score is increased by 1.

However, you cannot immediately run away after a biting attack. You must show your opponent your Scruff disability, and they may scruff you if they choose.

Krosp has a nasty bite; combined with his sneakiness, that makes for a good sneak attack. He may jump into any combat, unannounced, at any time, by biting any single combatant on the arm or leg. This distracts them from whatever else they were doing: they must focus on Krosp for this round of combat. If they were in the middle of combat with someone else, and would have won the round, they do no damage; if they would have lost the round, their opponent's effective score is increased by 1.

However, Krosp cannot immediately run away after a biting attack. His target may, as their next combat, grab him by the scruff and pick him up, effectively immobilizing him until he is put down. They cannot do any other combat actions while holding him.
