Buffalo Wing Sauce

1/2 cup (1 stick) butter 1/4 to 1/2 cup Red Hot sauce
2 tsp. cornstarch 2 oz. water

Melt butter.  Add Red Hot and boil for one minute.

Thickener:  mix cornstarch and water, and add to sauce.  This is an adequate thickener, but try others.  Omit thickener if tossing chicken in sauce,
add if using it as a dipping sauce.

Notes and Variations

Official Red Hot recipe calls for 1/4 cup Red Hot sauce, but it is too mild.  Try 1/2 cup.
