|2 8-oz. cans tomato sauce||1 can tomato paste|
|1 onion, sliced||lots of minced garlic|
|1 14-oz. can diced tomatoes||1 can sliced mushrooms|
|spices to taste: oregano, chive, thyme, basil||salt and pepper to taste|
|olive oil||water as needed|
Saute onions in a little olive oil until limp. Add garlic and saute a little more.
Add other ingredients, simmer "enough," about an hour. Correct the seasoning.
