Jeff Diewald's death came as a shock to everyone, but to few people as much as you, because you just might be involved. Not that you were planning to actually kill him or anything, but you may have been involved in it anyway.
On the one hand, there's P-5. This was supposed to just be a cute joke, to scare Jeff a little and maybe get some breathing time before his next magnificent poem came out. You are very worried that someone may have gotten carried away with the joke, and done something for real. You hope not -- but now would be a good time to distance yourself from any threats. You have decided to urge the idea of a reading of Jeff's poetry tomorrow night, to keep anyone from thinking you did it; it may not be a popular idea, but it's a tactically wise one.
On the other, there's the matter of the bottle. Shortly before opening ceremonies started, Bob Enfield gave you a bottle of port, and told you to put it in Plymouth for opening ceremonies. It certainly looks like Jeff was poisoned by whatever he drank. You aren't sure that the bottle Enfield gave you was the poisoned one -- you noticed another bottle already there when you got there, and there seemed to be yet another by the time of Jeff's death -- but you are certainly a little suspicious. You can't imagine how Jeff's death could benefit Enfield (being Con-chair may be a bit of an honor, but not nearly that much so), but you are keeping an eye on him...
